Job description
About Scrambly
Scrambly is a rapidly expanding adtech startup recognized globally for its outstanding performance, featuring in the AppsFlyer Performance Index and Singular ROI Index within just 3.5 years. Experiencing over 250% year-over-year growth in revenue, staff, products, and technology, Scrambly remains fully bootstrapped and profitable. The company is pioneering a future for app discovery as a reward-driven alternative to traditional app stores, creating a loyalty-based ecosystem that connects millions of users with leading apps while delivering exceptional, ROI-focused growth for mobile advertisers. Its mission is to establish a reliable alternative to conventional app stores powered by rewards and data, launching a new performance-first growth engine for mobile app promotion.
Role Overview
This role demands a passionate brand marketer eager to own the entire brand experience rather than merely manage channels. You will elevate Scrambly's brand from one respected for performance to a company that becomes an industry conversation starter. Responsibilities include setting strategies, crafting tone of voice, overseeing design and content, and executing events. You will rapidly expand Scrambly's LinkedIn presence and establish a newsletter audience from scratch, maintaining clarity and precision.
This is a hands-on position—delivering the actual work rather than delegating. Daily interaction with Figma, LinkedIn, newsletter platforms, analytics, and AI tools is expected, maintaining a strict standard for every word and visual element. Any energetic, driven individual with a preference for disciplined design and sharp copywriting who seeks full ownership to create a widely talked-about brand will thrive here.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the brand comprehensively: strategy, positioning, tone, design, and all branded materials.
- Amplify the LinkedIn audience multiple times, cultivating an influential and well-curated feed.
- Establish and grow an owned audience by launching a newsletter using the B2B website and content channels.
- Maintain a continuous content production schedule, producing industry reports and case studies that serve as effective sales tools.
- Define and enforce the brand's tone of voice across all communications.
- Manage field marketing by orchestrating major corporate events, including booth operations.
- Drive earned attention and thought leadership, maximizing share of voice within a constrained budget.
- Ensure strict quality control, avoiding any cluttered or off-brand output.
- Integrate AI tools daily for research, content creation, and production.
- Regularly measure and report on audience metrics, engagement, and content output.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Minimum five years’ experience in brand, content, or marketing roles, preferably in strong B2B product organizations.
- Demonstrated success in organically growing owned channels to significant audiences.
- Possess a refined design eye with experience in clean, professional B2B products.
- Complete content production proficiency: capable of writing and directing reports, case studies, posts, and newsletters.
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe, enabling art direction and maintaining visual quality standards.
- Competent in analytics platforms including LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
- Familiar with newsletter and CRM tools like HubSpot, Customer.io, Substack, or Beehiiv.
- Experience organizing and managing corporate events and booths, beyond mere attendance.
- Possess a growth-hacker mindset to find unconventional and effective growth tactics.
- Daily user of advanced AI tools integrated into workflows.
- Ownership mentality with initiative to resolve challenges independently.
- English language proficiency at C1 level or higher, critical for content quality.
Preferred Background
Candidates often come from sectors such as B2B SaaS, adtech or martech, developer-oriented API products, fintech, performance marketing or affiliate networks, and B2B media or content creator-driven brands. Experience with bootstrapped or lean B2B product firms with distinct branding, fast-growing startups with small marketing teams, design-led B2B companies known for minimal and clear branding, or product-led growth enterprises is typical.
Culture and Work Style
Scrambly operates with meritocracy, speed, a product-first approach, and flat hierarchy. Projects ship rapidly, with emphasis on direct feedback and maintaining a high-performance standard. Employees enjoy full autonomy and ownership from their first day, aiming for an industry-recognized brand with rapidly multiplying audiences and an unerring content engine.
