Hardware Design Engineer

Role Overview

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. is urgently seeking a Hardware Design Engineer for a reputed client based in Bengaluru, India. This is a 12-month contract position requiring 4-5 years of relevant experience. The engineer will work within a globally distributed team focusing on cutting-edge VLSI synthesis, primarily supporting multiple projects involving memory technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehend and interpret Synopsys memory compiler documentation and respond to end-user queries.
• Create compiled memory views and conduct thorough quality assurance for each released version.
• Manage program activities including tracking tasks and monitoring progress to meet deadlines.

Experience and Technical Expertise

• 4 to 5 years professional experience in hardware design.
• Strong understanding of SRAMs and memory compiler tools, preferably Synopsis Memory Compiler.
• Knowledge of the VLSI design flow and memory design components such as Verilog, timing libraries (.lib), LEF, and GDS formats.
• Experience with physical design verification processes including DRC (Design Rule Check) and LVS (Layout Versus Schematic).
• Proficiency in circuit simulation and interpretation, particularly using SPICE.
• Competent in executing and customizing scripts using PERL, Unix shell, Tcl, Python or similar scripting languages.
