Role Overview
The Growth Marketing Executive position requires a commercially driven and pragmatic individual focused on augmenting lead generation, enhancing campaign performance, and expanding the sales pipeline for CEW's leadership development products and scholarship programs. This role entails full ownership of the marketing funnel, from strategic campaign design and audience targeting to execution, nurturing prospects, converting leads, and delivering performance reports.
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Member Engagement and Marketing, the role duties include managing digital campaigns aligned with CEW’s strategic growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement lead generation strategies across paid, owned, and earned media channels.
- Manage the entire marketing funnel for CEW’s core leadership development offerings.
- Develop, execute, and optimize campaigns to attract qualified leads and boost program enrolments.
- Create and oversee nurture sequences for programs requiring extended consideration periods.
- Track and analyze campaign effectiveness to continually enhance conversion rates.
- Produce engaging campaign content and assets tailored for prospective participants.
- Collaborate internally to maintain consistency in messaging and campaign priorities.
- Provide marketing support for scholarship initiatives.
- Configure and optimize Google Ads campaigns, managing CEW’s Google Ad Grant.
- Oversee paid social media advertising on various platforms.
- Assist with organic social media efforts to support programs and lead acquisition.
- Coordinate with external agencies through briefing and performance guidance.
- Manage landing page improvements to increase conversion success.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns utilizing HubSpot, including emailing strategies and workflow automations.
- Segment audiences and personalize campaigns accordingly.
- Leverage marketing technology for improved productivity and outcomes.
- Report on lead generation metrics, sales pipeline health, and conversion analytics.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of five years’ experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing roles.
- Background in small organisations, non-profits, membership associations, educational institutions, or similarly agile settings.
- Demonstrated success managing lead generation campaigns and optimizing marketing funnels.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, paid social campaigns, and digital campaign management.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Skill in creating nurture sequences and email automation workflows.
- Strong analytical abilities with competency in interpreting data and refining campaign performance.
- Experience working alongside external agencies and suppliers.
- Ability to independently create attractive campaign assets using Canva.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing leadership development, executive education, professional services, or high-value products.
- Familiarity with marketing offerings with longer sales cycles and complex decision-making processes.
- Insight into not-for-profit, membership, or advocacy sectors.
- Passion for promoting women’s leadership and advancing gender equity.
