About the Role

Durga Trading Co., a jewellery retail business based in Chandigarh, is looking for a dedicated greeter to join their showroom team. The role requires a graduate from any stream and prefers candidates with a hospitality, retail, aviation, hotel, or customer service background, with particular advantage for those experienced in jewellery showrooms.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer entering the showroom with professionalism.
• Present a pleasant smile to create a positive first impression.
• Identify the purpose of each customer's visit and direct them to the correct sales representative or department.
• Provide refreshments following showroom protocols.
• Manage visitor logs and monitor walk-in customer records as necessary.
• Comply with company policies related to grooming, etiquette, and showroom standards.

Requirements

• Must have at least two years’ experience in industries such as hospitality, retail, aviation, hotel, or customer service.
• Experience specific to jewellery showrooms is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English; familiarity with the local language is advantageous.
• Must be well-groomed, confident, and carry a friendly, approachable personality.
• Strong interpersonal and hospitality skills with positive body language and proper etiquette.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in hospitality or luxury retail preferred.
• Experience dealing with premium customers is an asset.

Other Information

• Preferred candidate gender: Female.
• Age range: 25 to 37 years.
• Salary ranges from 18,000 to 28,000 INR monthly, depending on experience and interview outcome.
