Role Overview

The Global Brand Media Manager will be instrumental in steering the global brand media strategy to boost brand awareness and effectively communicate COS's unique point of view. This position is part of the global Marketing team and involves oversight and support for implementing brand media initiatives across all regions. Key channels include Paid Social, Out of Home (OOH), Display, Online Video, Publisher Partnerships, and Connected TV (CTV), requiring close collaboration with regional teams and agency partners to ensure impactful and consistent campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating and delivering brand media channel strategies that align with business goals and paid media KPIs across Paid Social, Display, OOH, Publisher Partnerships, and CTV.
  • Serve as the global authority on execution standards to uphold best practices and elevate the brand's point of view worldwide.
  • Evaluate and align regional upper and mid-funnel paid media efforts with the global paid media strategy across all channels.
  • Support the Global Paid Media Measurement Framework through activities like lift studies, experiments, campaign reporting, and quarterly business analyses, sharing findings to drive improvements and scale results.
  • Collaborate with global marketing, regional paid media teams, and agencies to optimize budget allocation using scenario planning for maximum ROI in various markets.
  • Provide strategic guidance, tools, and best practices to empower regional teams for effective campaign implementation.
  • Create and maintain global best practices, playbooks, and frameworks to ensure consistent and efficient brand media execution across markets.
  • Act as the primary contact for regional teams, promptly resolving tactical queries and ensuring local campaigns align with global objectives.
  • Keep abreast of evolving paid media trends and platforms to keep COS at the forefront of paid advertising innovation.
  • Partner with Global Creative, Regional Paid Media, and agencies to ensure assets are effective and optimally deployed.
  • Ensure adherence to global brand safety protocols, guaranteeing all paid media placements maintain a high-quality environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven extensive experience in paid media roles within prominent premium brands or agencies.
  • Expertise in upper-funnel brand-building channels including Paid Social, Display, OOH, Publisher Partnerships, and CTV.
  • Strong proficiency in paid media measurement techniques such as brand health metrics, lift studies, and incrementality testing.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills to interpret media and brand insights and convert them into actionable strategies.
  • Capability to optimize budgets and enhance media efficiency to maximize return on investment.
  • Global experience managing campaigns across multiple markets, balancing standardization with local adaptations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills to influence and align regional teams and agencies without direct authority.
  • Clear and effective strategic storytelling, translating complex data into impactful recommendations.
  • Commercial understanding of the influence of paid media investments on brand demand, revenue, profitability, and growth.
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration with analytics, performance media, content, and design teams.
  • Ability to establish governance frameworks and best practices to scale and enhance global execution standards.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple paid media projects and campaigns simultaneously with various stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large-scale global media agencies to ensure strategic and operational success.
