Job Overview
Our client seeks a GIS Developer to contribute significantly to digital asset management, infrastructure planning, property administration, and spatial analytics within a large-scale enterprise environment based in Dubai, UAE.
Key Duties
- Design, develop, and sustain GIS enterprise solutions utilizing ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and other Esri tools.
- Create GIS web applications, dashboards, and mobile tools leveraging Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS JavaScript API, and Field Maps.
- Integrate GIS platforms with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle CRM, CAFM via REST APIs and middleware solutions.
- Implement automation through Python, ArcPy, and ModelBuilder to enhance GIS workflows and data handling.
- Manage enterprise geodatabases, focusing on data integrity, security, and system performance.
- Support GIS platform updates, migrations, and modernization efforts.
- Conduct spatial analyses, generate mapping and visualization reports to aid business operations and decisions.
- Engage in system testing phases including SIT/UAT, deploy production releases, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to develop scalable GIS solutions.
- Contribute actively to Agile delivery processes, documentation, solution design, and continual process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, Geomatics, Geography, or related fields.
- Possess between 5 to 8 years of professional experience in enterprise GIS development.
- Proficient with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro platforms.
- Experienced in using ArcGIS JavaScript API, Experience Builder, and Web AppBuilder for application development.
- Skilled in managing enterprise geodatabases and database technologies including SQL Server and spatial databases.
- Strong command of Python scripting, specifically using ArcPy, and familiarity with automation tools such as ModelBuilder.
- Competent in REST API integrations and experienced in working with Azure, IIS, and Windows Server environments.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies for software delivery.
