Role Overview

The Ganger is tasked with delivering various services that ensure the ongoing upkeep and sustainability of community and council infrastructure. This role supports the Works Supervisor by taking a leadership position during construction and maintenance projects.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess a Certificate III in Civil Construction or be willing to obtain this qualification within a stipulated timeframe. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Desirable qualifications and competencies include:

Verified competency in operating various plant machinery
OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card
Open LR class driver’s license, or willingness to obtain one
Heavy Rigid (HR) Queensland driver’s license is advantageous
