Role Overview
We are looking to appoint a Fund Operations Associate based full-time in our Sydney CBD office. This role supports the operations of Aoris Australian, Cayman Islands, and UK funds. You will work closely with the Fund Operations Manager and the Head of Operations and Finance, contributing to mission-critical operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the complete trade lifecycle process.
- Conducting unit pricing reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Overseeing unit registry functions.
- Completing due diligence questionnaires as required.
- Preparing monthly performance and operational reports for investors, consultants, platforms, and research entities.
- Handling payment processing and managing fee reviews including rebate administration.
- Monitoring ASX disclosures and daily market activities.
- Updating wholesale certificate registers appropriately.
- Addressing and resolving investor inquiries.
- Improving processes and mitigating risks within fund operations.
- Providing office administrative support.
- Assisting with year-end procedures and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintaining comprehensive policy and procedural documentation.
- Supporting business development by managing printing and mailing annual letters.
- Preparing monthly reporting materials for distribution to investors.
- Updating the website with current fund-related information.
- Conducting competitor analysis to inform the distribution team.
- Handling ad-hoc requests to assist the distribution team effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related disciplines.
- Prior experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Motivated to establish a long-term career within fund operations.
