Role Overview

We seek a highly capable Full-Stack Software Engineer responsible for end-to-end development and delivery across our entire product spectrum. This includes the WordPress/CMS website, web applications, backend services, mobile integrations, internal administration tools, and developer-focused platform components. The candidate will handle customer interfaces, dashboards, APIs, data processing workflows, and features linked to wearable hardware sensor data utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of full-stack features spanning web applications, backend systems, mobile-connected products, internal tools, and developer platform offerings.
• Manage and improve the WordPress CMS site including crafting custom templates, integrating plugins, enhancing landing pages, optimizing for analytics, performance, technical SEO, security, and backend connections.
• Create intuitive dashboards, administrative tools, developer portals, onboarding processes, and interfaces to handle data management.
• Extend functionality on iOS and Android applications related to wearable-device operations such as BLE scanning, pairing, GATT communication, background synchronization, offline data handling, and reconnections.
• Architect and maintain backend services including RESTful APIs, authentication, database schema design, data modeling, background processing, and third-party service integrations.
• Develop comprehensive sensor data workflows encompassing collection, synchronization, storage, visualization, logging, export capabilities, analytics, and data quality validation.
• Collaborate closely with embedded engineers on BLE protocol design, GATT services and characteristics, data formats, device states, and firmware-mobile interaction testing.
• Build developer-centric tools including SDKs, API documentation, sample apps, integration manuals, and data export utilities.
• Enhance system reliability, performance, security, observability, testing protocols, deployment processes, and maintainability across the software infrastructure.
• Work in tight collaboration with the founding team, end users, researchers, and partners to rapidly prototype, perform real hardware testing, and deliver production-ready functionalities.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years in software engineering, specializing in full-stack web development.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or equivalent frontend technologies.
• Proficient backend/API development skills using Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, or similar languages, with a strong understanding of REST API design and database-driven applications.
• Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Firebase, Supabase, MongoDB, or comparable systems.
• Competence in WordPress/CMS development involving theme and plugin customization, PHP, site performance, SEO techniques, security best practices, and ongoing maintenance.
• Mobile development experience is highly desirable, especially in React Native, Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android, or native mobile integrations.
• Additional advantage if knowledgeable about IoT, BLE/GATT protocols, wearable hardware, connectivity solutions, or sensor data processing workflows.
• Self-driven and able to take full ownership of feature development, communicate effectively, and deliver quickly within a lean startup culture.
