About the Role
We are seeking a confident and proactive Receptionist / Client Relationship Executive to represent our upscale home furnishings store located in Hyderabad. The candidate will play a key role as the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service, showcasing our diverse product range including fabrics, curtains, wallpapers, upholsteries, and furnishings, and fostering long-term client relationships. Strong communication skills and a polished personality are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all walk-in customers warmly and professionally to create a welcoming showroom atmosphere.
- Understand customer needs and guide them through various products and catalogues.
- Engage customers proactively to convert inquiries into potential sales opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing communication by calling prospective customers to encourage showroom visits and following up with existing clients on quotations, approvals, and payments.
- Coordinate with vendors on order progress, dispatch, and delivery timelines, ensuring timely updates to customers.
- Efficiently handle daily front office tasks including managing customer records, enquiries, quotations, orders, phone and digital communications, appointment scheduling, and preparing invoices and reports.
- Keep the reception area and product catalogues well organized and appealing at all times.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Confident, well-presented, and professional demeanor with a strong personality.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills in Hindi, Telugu, and English.
- Ability to build rapport, persuade clients, and maintain excellent customer relations.
- Organized with strong follow-up capabilities and multitasking ability to work independently.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, email management, internet browsing, WhatsApp Business, and preferably basic billing and invoicing software.
- Prior experience (1–3 years) in reception, customer relations, retail sales, or hospitality sectors; experience in furnishings or interior décor is a plus.
Compensation and Work Environment
- Monthly salary ranging from 18000 to 25000 INR, with additional performance-based bonuses.
