Overview

Canary Yellow Logistics Pvt Ltd is seeking experienced Freight Brokers with between 6 months and 2 years of relevant background. The role involves acting as a key liaison connecting customers to freight carriers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination throughout the shipment process. The ideal candidate will effectively manage accounts, oversee the exchange of documentation, and track shipment status in collaboration with dispatchers and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Match authorized and dependable transportation carriers with shippers to fulfill shipping requirements for various companies.
• Evaluate and select reputable carriers to guarantee top-quality service for client accounts and shipping routes.
• Maintain current client relationships while actively generating leads and attracting potential new customers to expand the sales pipeline.
• Acquire new business through outreach methods such as prospecting and cold calling.
• Negotiate competitive rates and service agreements with freight shipping carriers to benefit customers.
• Prepare and provide shipping quotes to clients.
• Coordinate order bookings with carriers and assist carriers in preparing for loads.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate or undergraduate degree holders with at least six months of professional experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to quickly grasp and implement process knowledge.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
• Thorough understanding of the freight industry.
• Professional demeanor, including conduct, appearance, and communication.
