About the Role
Ansco & Associates, LLC is looking for a Flagger to help keep public travel safe around active work zones by managing traffic and supporting flagging operations.
What You’ll Do
- Direct traffic around active work areas using hand signals, paddles, and related flagging tools.
- Set out and ready flags, cones, signs, and markers before work begins.
- Assist with general construction tasks when directed by the Foreman or Supervisor.
- Operate vehicles safely and comply with company safe-driving requirements.
- Follow applicable DOT rules at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and in working condition.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Take on other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
- Must hold a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; provisional licenses are not accepted.
- Prior flagging experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
The role involves routine work alone in remote locations, vehicle operation, bending, stooping, squeezing, standing, walking, stair climbing, lifting 10 to 25 pounds, fine hand movements, and using a keyboard and mouse. On occasion, the job may also require reaching above shoulder level, climbing stairs, and lifting 26 to 55 pounds.
