Financial Controller - Pharma Start-Up

About the Role

Our client, an emerging pharmaceutical start-up based in Dublin, is seeking its very first finance hire to establish a solid financial foundation. This pivotal position offers a remote working arrangement with considerable flexibility and requires taking full ownership of the finance function while reporting directly to the company's founders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
• Prepare financial statements and conduct detailed financial analysis.
• Develop and implement scalable financial structures.
• Establish finance processes and procedures across European operations.
• Engage in corporate finance activities such as fundraising.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Oversee cash flow management.
• Handle tax obligations and statutory filing requirements.
• Build and lead the finance team as the company grows.
• Participate in operational tasks as required.
