Finance Manager

Role overview

This position is for a meticulous and reliable MIS, Finance & Accounts professional at FTD Travel. The role centers on keeping financial records accurate, managing reconciliations, preparing management information reports, handling statutory obligations, and helping operational teams streamline finance-related workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily reconciliations of operational transactions and verify that financial records remain correct.
• Keep books of accounts, financial information, and supporting records well organized and up to date.
• Track and complete statutory compliance requirements related to Income Tax, GST, TDS, and any other relevant regulations.
• Compile MIS reports, reconciliation statements, and financial summaries for review by management.
• Support operations teams in designing, refining, and strengthening financial and operational processes.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external consultants to ensure smooth finance operations.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency across finance-related activities.

Education and qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification is required.

Preferred skills and experience

• Strong command over MS Excel, including formulas, reconciliations, reporting, and basic data analysis.
• Working knowledge of accounting ERPs/CRMs; experience with Tally is mandatory.
• Exposure to internal auditing and financial control practices is preferred.
• Good ability to organize work, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay on schedule.
• Careful approach to recordkeeping with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
• Clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in travel, OTA, or service-industry accounting will be considered an advantage.

Additional information

This role involves close coordination across finance and operations functions and requires consistent attention to compliance, reporting, and process improvement. The compensation stated for the position is INR 35,000 to INR 50,000 per month.
