Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to serve as Field Sales Manager for the Lower South Island, with a preference for Dunedin location. Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Territory Managers driving growth in sales, market share, and flawless execution across retail and hospitality sectors.
Responsibilities
- Guide and nurture a high-performing Territory Manager team through coaching and development.
- Implement channel, customer, and brand strategies successfully within the Lower South Island.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct frequent field coaching sessions to enhance team capabilities and outcomes.
- Spot opportunities to grow sales volume, market share, revenue, and profitability.
- Oversee customer contracts, promotions investment, and business performance reviews.
- Promote a culture centered on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Support talent development and succession planning for future sales leaders.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership and sales management experience within FMCG or related industries.
- Strong coaching and personnel development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Commercially astute with a focus on delivering results.
- Experience working with retail and/or hospitality channel dynamics.
- Effective at planning, prioritising, and executing sales initiatives.
- Preferably holds a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or similar field.
- Valid full New Zealand driver's licence is mandatory.
- Must have legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Additional Information
This full-time role is based permanently in the Lower South Island with preferred location in Dunedin, New Zealand. The position is contract-based and requires onsite presence.
