About the Role

Join Aptiv as a Facility Lead and contribute to developing innovative solutions that make roads safer, greener, and more connected. This role involves overseeing the entire facilities department, working closely with stakeholders and vendors to fulfill project commitments, and managing finances to stay within or exceed budget targets.

Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility as the primary leader of the facilities department.
Coordinate with internal and external parties, including vendors, to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor project financials closely to meet or outperform budget expectations.
Ensure utility and facility cost targets are achieved.
Prevent any production downtime related to facility issues.
Meet all facility department key performance indicators (KPIs).
Lead predictive maintenance efforts and maintain records of preventive maintenance, fault reports, and corrective work orders.
Liaise with external agencies for new projects and major repairs or maintenance tasks.
Oversee site administration functions such as security, transportation, housekeeping, and cafeteria while controlling associated costs.
Ensure strict compliance with safety and statutory guidelines.
Manage Addition & Alterations (A&A), Repairs & Redecoration (R&R), and other facility-related projects.
Implement process improvements to boost productivity and improve financial performance.
Innovate and lead problem-solving initiatives.
Forecast and control project spending and budgeting.
Adhere to health and safety regulations per the EHS department and government mandates.
Drive plant-wide energy conservation and environmental management initiatives.
Prioritize support to manufacturing facilities.
Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and security standards in collaboration with internal and external customers.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
Holder of a C License.
10 to 15 years of experience in industrial facility management, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
In-depth knowledge of safe work procedures.
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Effective written communication and presentation skills are desirable.
Possesses creativity, analytical aptitude, and passion for the role.
Familiarity with various digital systems and tools used in facilities management.

Salary Range: INR 2,100,000 to INR 3,300,000 per annum.
