Role Summary
The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Strategic Operations is a senior leader responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide operational strategy, business transformation, and performance enhancement. This role ensures alignment of operational capabilities with corporate goals to foster scalable growth and effective execution of critical strategic initiatives. The EVP collaborates closely with the CEO, executives, business leaders, and stakeholders to convert strategic plans into measurable operational achievements, facilitate large-scale transformation programs, and enhance profitability and agility.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the formulation and implementation of comprehensive strategic operations initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Translate high-level business strategies into practical operational plans, setting priorities and governance structures.
- Manage large transformation projects to boost business efficiency, scalability, and adaptability.
- Evaluate and refine organizational structures, systems, and processes to identify and implement improvements.
- Champion modernization efforts incorporating automation, digital transformation, and technology adoption.
- Develop scalable operational models supporting business expansion and market growth.
- Lead change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of strategic transformations.
- Collaborate with executive teams to create long-term strategic plans and monitor their execution through governance and performance metrics.
- Oversee enterprise-wide performance management frameworks, dashboards, and KPI establishment to measure productivity and outcomes.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and partner with finance to analyze operational ROI and resource planning.
- Guide continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methods to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across operations, finance, technology, sales, marketing, product, and business development.
- Build and mentor high-performing strategic operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Implement governance frameworks ensuring risk management, regulatory compliance, and ethical business practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 18 years progressively responsible leadership in strategic operations, business transformation, or corporate strategy.
- Proven track record in steering enterprise-wide initiatives and complex operational improvement programs.
- Expertise in organizational transformation, process optimization, and scaling operations efficiently.
- Experience collaborating closely with CEOs, executive teams, boards, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong ability to manage multi-functional programs and lead large-scale change efforts.
- Solid understanding of business strategy, operational management, financial oversight, and digital transformation.
- Background in global operations or fast-growing companies is highly advantageous.
