The Estate Manager position based in County Cork requires overseeing all facets of daily estate operations, including managing private residences to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. This leadership role entails coordinating household personnel, contractors, maintenance schedules, budgeting, security, events, and property projects while acting as the primary liaison for the principal and family office. The ideal candidate must possess excellent organisational capabilities, emotional intelligence, and anticipatory problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all daily estate activities.
- Lead, inspire, and supervise household staff members.
- Recruit, onboard, and provide training to new employees.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and external service providers.
- Oversee scheduled and preventative maintenance programs.
- Develop and monitor household and estate budgets.
- Implement systems, procedures, and standards for household services.
- Communicate effectively with principals, family offices, and trusted advisors.
- Plan and manage household events and guest visits.
- Organize travel arrangements across multiple properties.
- Maintain properties in immaculate, guest-ready condition.
- Supervise refurbishment and renovation projects.
- Manage security protocols and emergency preparedness plans.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Generate routine operational and financial reporting.

- Proven experience managing luxury hotels or estates with grounds.

Qualifications
- Academic degree or relevant professional qualifications.
- First Aid certification.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to acquire one.
- Full and clean Irish driving licence required.
