E-Commerce Manager - Amazon

Role Overview

As an E-Commerce Manager specialized in Amazon at JAKO AG, you will autonomously oversee and advance the company's presence on platforms such as Amazon, Zalando, and Otto. Your responsibilities include managing product assortments and listings, ensuring availability in close coordination with internal teams, and serving as the main contact point for these platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop JAKO's e-commerce presence independently and professionally on platforms like Amazon, Zalando, and Otto.
• Act as the central liaison for each platform, coordinating assortment management, listings, and stock availability alongside internal collaborators.
• Develop, implement, and optimize platform-targeted marketing initiatives, including Amazon Ads and Zalando campaigns.
• Enhance product detail pages by refining titles, bullet points, images, etc., to improve visibility and conversion rates.
• Conduct product performance analysis, monitoring, and continuous improvement on the platforms.
• Identify and evaluate emerging platforms and marketplaces; contribute to long-term platform strategies, including partnerships with specialty retailers.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completed vocational training or degree in E-Commerce or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably possess several years of experience managing operations on key online marketplaces.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce KPIs, performance drivers, and marketplace algorithms, complemented by experience with analytics and advertising tools.
• High sense of responsibility combined with a structured, data-driven, and efficient approach to work.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong team player mentality, valuing collaboration and teamwork.
