Desktop Support Technician

Job Overview

This position is for a Desktop Support Technician on a 6-month contract basis at Pittsburgh Winsupply - Fire Sprinklers & Fabrication located in the Memphis Metropolitan Area. The role focuses on providing technical assistance and problem resolution for desktop environments within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting printers to ensure seamless operation.
• Providing hardware and software support for desktop and laptop devices.
• Working with Windows operating systems and common business software applications.
• Applying basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and resolving network connectivity and network printer issues.
• Supporting and diagnosing problems within Meraki network infrastructures.
• Delivering high-quality customer service and support in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Proactively identifying improvement opportunities within support processes and contributing to related infrastructure projects.
