Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Designer to enhance our dynamic creative team. This role involves conceptualizing and producing visually impactful designs for a range of social media, digital, PR, branding projects, and integrated campaigns of varying scale, including presentation materials. Collaboration with teammates is key to formulate engaging ideas and executions. The position is primarily remote, working Eastern Time hours, although the office is based in Detroit.

Key Responsibilities

Develop original, persuasive visual design assets that adhere to agency and brand guidelines, spanning campaign aesthetics, mood boards, iconography, typography, illustrations, brand manuals, print collateral, organic and paid social media creatives, GIFs, memes, and PowerPoint decks.
Approach design and marketing challenges with creativity from concept to final execution.
Work closely with Art Directors to produce designs that drive audience engagement.
Utilize expertise in layout, typography, and design to craft PowerPoint templates and social media assets.
Deliver work with exceptional attention to detail.
Incorporate and act upon feedback from Creative Directors, peers, and clients constructively.
Explain the rationale behind design decisions effectively.
Achieve proficiency in brand style guide application.
Understand and apply the principles of visual hierarchy within design projects.
Excel in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), PowerPoint, and stay abreast of emerging digital and social media design trends.
Familiarity with digital, UX, and UI design principles.
Knowledge of AfterEffects, Sketch, and HTML is beneficial but not required.
Animation capabilities are an added advantage but not mandatory.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 2 years professional or internship experience in digital, social, or print design.
Portfolio showcasing work (including spec work and unproduced concepts) is required.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and design/video standards.
Experience with automotive projects is a plus, though not essential.
Enthusiastic about learning and managing projects independently from concept through production.
Excellent decision-making and multitasking skills under deadline pressure.
Professionalism in collaborating with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
Self-driven with entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity.
Keen interest in current digital trends and emerging media platforms.
Willingness to innovate creatively and push boundaries.
Ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively.

Compensation and Policy

The salary range for this role is $58,700 to $72,000 annually, determined by factors like experience, market conditions, tenure, and qualifications.

Employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to applicable accommodations.

Omnicom requires employees to work in-office at least three days per week; this requirement may increase over time.
