Role Overview

Wilson’s Hospital School, a co-educational boarding institution hosting approximately 120 boarders, is inviting applications for the position of Deputy Head of Boys Boarding. This key leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional pastoral care and fostering a secure, nurturing, and stimulating boarding environment where all students can flourish.

Primary Duties

• Collaborate with the Head of Boys Boarding to provide strategic direction and pastoral oversight.
• Support the supervision and professional growth of the boarding staff.
• Develop and maintain strong connections with boarders, their families, and guardians.
• Advocate for boarding interests within the wider school community.
• Promote and uphold the Church of Ireland's Christian ethos embedded at Wilson’s Hospital School.
• Guarantee adherence to safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and boarding standards.
• Assist in planning and facilitating engaging activities during evenings and weekends for boarders.
