We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our newly formed Data and Insights team alongside a Data Analyst. The successful candidate will develop tools for ingesting, processing, and analyzing extensive volumes of data, ensuring that business-critical data is accessible and reliable for informed decision-making. The position requires building scalable data infrastructure aligned with our ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and maintain modern scalable data infrastructure including pipelines and business data storage within a Kubernetes environment.
• Implement data validation and automated testing frameworks to uphold data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Enhance internal data processes by automating manual workflows, improving data delivery efficiency, and redesigning infrastructure for scalability.
• Manage data architecture, infrastructure, and tooling comprehensively.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum two years experience working with ETL pipelines and Data Warehouses.
• Demonstrable success in managing data operations effectively.
• Profound understanding of ETL processes and data management best practices.
• Proficiency in Python programming and SQL query development.
• Experience or familiarity with Kubernetes, Dagster orchestration, Postgres, and CockroachDB databases.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
