Job description
Overview
We are looking for a talented Cybersecurity Platform Engineer skilled in Tenable Vulnerability Management System (VMS) to strengthen our security framework. This role requires a solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, proficiency in vulnerability management tools, and capability to deploy impactful solutions that safeguard company systems and data.
Location and Work Arrangement
Position is based at our office in Singapore with mandatory onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support on-premise Tenable VMS installations at customer locations, following established policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with internal and customer teams to ensure operational service levels are achieved, focusing on incidents, problems, service requests, patching, and vulnerability management.
- Create and update vulnerability scan jobs and execute scans according to schedule.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports related to VMS operations.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of assets into VMS, resolving any associated issues with asset owners.
- Continuously enhance operational procedures and documentations in line with customer expectations, regulatory standards, industry best practices, and product guidelines.
- Produce accurate and timely operational reports, both routine and ad hoc.
- Adhere to all established service management processes.
- Fulfill service requests from customers within agreed timeframes.
- Monitor operational performance metrics.
- Apply mitigation strategies for identified risks and remediate vulnerabilities from assessments and audits.
- Handle system alerts and customer-reported incidents outside normal working hours.
- Conduct system maintenance tasks beyond office hours and provide standby support as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years' experience managing or supporting Tenable VMS solutions at large enterprises or multinational corporations.
- Strong familiarity with typical security technologies and their integration with external systems and services such as DNS, Domain Controllers, NTP, Log Management, System Monitoring, Backup solutions, two-factor authentication, and vulnerability management systems.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite at customer locations.
- Flexibility to perform system maintenance and provide after-hours support, including standby duties.
