Customer Service Assistant

Job Overview

Hannon Transport Ltd. seeks a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to deliver outstanding support to clients and ensure their transportation requirements are efficiently managed. This pivotal role contributes to sustaining excellent customer relations and improving the overall client experience at the Lusk, Co Dublin location.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound customer queries via telephone, email, and chat.
• Provide accurate and timely information regarding Hannon transport and logistics services.
• Promptly handle and resolve customer complaints ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist clients with booking, scheduling, modifications, and cancellations of transportation services.
• Maintain precise and current records of customer communications, transactions, and feedback using CRM and TMS platforms.
• Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and other departments to guarantee seamless service delivery.
• Collect and report customer feedback to aid service enhancements.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, processes, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Leaving Certificate or equivalent; further qualifications in customer service or related disciplines desirable.
• Prior experience in a customer service position, preferably within transport or logistics sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer needs.
• Competence in CRM software and other customer service tools.
• Effective multitasking and time management capabilities.
• Keen attention to detail and precision in data input.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Location: Lusk, Fingal, Ireland.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Weekend shifts: One in every five weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Salary: €35,000 per annum.
