Creative Copywriter

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Creative Copywriter based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, who will craft compelling and insight-driven written content to enliven our brand and distinguish it within the marketplace. This role involves supporting marketing communication objectives across numerous channels, strictly adhering to brand guidelines and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay informed about emerging trends in content creation, storytelling, and copywriting relevant to various platforms.
• Interpret creative briefs into engaging, on-brand copy including concepts, headlines, taglines, scripts, and both long and short-form formats.
• Present copy concepts and the rationale behind messaging to stakeholders when necessary.
• Finalize copy assets suitable for digital, print, and offline distribution.
• Assist with annual brand and campaign planning by contributing necessary copy support for key initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Design teams, and external agencies to ensure punctual and high-quality content delivery.
• Evaluate and refine copy in conjunction with external vendors or agencies as needed, maintaining alignment with project scopes and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain a centralized and structured library of all brand copy assets including headlines, taglines, scripts, and messaging references, ensuring version control and accessibility.
• Study and implement global brand voice guidelines to ensure consistency of tone, personality, and messaging across all communications.
• Review agency-produced copy and offer constructive feedback to maintain brand standards.
• Work cross-functionally with product teams, marketers, designers, and other departments to create integrated campaigns with tailored messaging for diverse channels and audience segments.
• Prepare and communicate regular status updates regarding copy projects, timelines, and dependencies to all stakeholders.
• Track and manage time across multiple projects to optimize workload and prioritization.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related disciplines.
• Between 2 to 4 years’ practical experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing communications.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign execution, and brand communications.
• Proven copywriting skills capable of producing clear, persuasive, and engaging content across various formats.
• Experience creating content for digital platforms such as websites, social media, emails, apps, and scripts; familiarity with video or multimedia scripts is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt content effectively for different media including both digital and print.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple copy projects within deadlines efficiently.
• Prior experience in a creative or branding agency environment is a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
