We are searching for a visual artist who creatively combines traditional retouching skills with generative AI technologies to produce striking, brand-aligned imagery for diverse platforms including advertising, digital media, and e-commerce. This role demands precision, creativity, and technical acumen to transform AI-generated and photographic content into visually compelling assets that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance and create images through generative AI, advanced image-editing software, and professional retouching techniques
Generate visual concepts including mood boards, style frames, and campaign mock-ups from creative briefs
Perform detailed retouching such as colour correction, compositing, masking, skin and product refinement, lighting adjustments, and background replacement on both photography and AI-generated images
Address AI-generated image imperfections like visual artefacts, anatomical inaccuracies, inconsistent textures, and lighting problems
Compose precise prompts to produce AI-generated images aligned with creative, brand, and production goals
Integrate multiple elements from photography, CGI, stock photography, and AI-generated sources into seamless compositions
Develop lifelike product, lifestyle, environmental, and conceptual visualisations prior to final production
Ensure consistent visual quality across campaign assets and deliverables for various channels and formats
Prepare files suitable for print, digital, social media, e-commerce, and presentations
Collaborate extensively with creative directors, designers, photographers, copywriters, marketers, and production teams
Handle feedback and revisions efficiently, maintaining quality standards while adhering to deadlines
Stay updated on advancements in generative AI, image retouching, and visual production processes
Comply with copyright, licensing, brand safety, confidentiality, and ethical AI usage guidelines
Maintain organised file management systems for source files, prompts, versions, and final outputs

Candidate Profile

Proven experience in creative retouching, visualization, digital art, photography, design, CGI, or related areas
Expertise with Adobe Photoshop including compositing, masking, color grading, and non-destructive editing
Hands-on experience with generative AI image tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or Stable Diffusion
Solid grasp of lighting, perspective, composition, color theory, texture, anatomy, and photographic realism
Skilled in crafting and refining prompts to extract quality AI-generated imagery
Exceptional eye for detail to detect subtle inconsistencies in visuals
A strong portfolio showcasing excellence in retouching, image manipulation, visualization, and AI-powered creative work
Ability to interpret creative briefs accurately and translate concepts into engaging visual content
Efficient time management skills with capability to juggle multiple projects
Receptive to creative feedback and experienced in iterative refinement processes

Preferred Additional Skills

Familiarity with 3D or CGI software like Blender, Cinema 4D, or Unreal Engine
Knowledge of AI workflows including inpainting, outpainting, image-to-image generation, ControlNet, model training, or custom pipelines
Experience generating content for both consumer and corporate brands
Understanding of print production, color management, file standards, and digital delivery requirements
Basic skills in motion design or video editing
Comfortable with digital asset management (DAM) systems and collaborative review tools
