Counter Sales Executive - Apparel and Footwear

Bharat Stores Itwari located in Nagpur, Maharashtra is seeking a Counter Sales Executive specialized in clothing and footwear sales. This role involves direct interaction with customers at the showroom counters situated near Sarafa Bazar, Shahid Chowk, Tanga Stand Chowk, Itwari, and Dharampeth areas. The ideal candidate should have practical experience selling lehengas, sarees, and footwear and must be able to provide knowledgeable fashion advice in line with the latest trends.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage counter sales activities at the showroom for garments and footwear.
• Assist customers in selecting items such as lehengas, sarees, and shoes.
• Offer detailed product information and style consultations to patrons.
• Drive sales through effective upselling techniques.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Ensure the showroom display and product arrangements are organized and appealing.
• Meet daily and monthly sales targets consistently.
• Support billing processes and resolve customer inquiries promptly.

Job Requirements

• Candidate age should be between 20 and 40 years.
• Open to both male and female applicants.
• Educational qualification of 10th grade pass or below is acceptable.
• English language skills are not mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuade customers.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Experience in business-to-consumer (B2C), counter, or showroom sales.
• Proven aptitude in upselling and engaging customers.
• Background in apparel sales is essential.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• The position is full-time with a daytime shift from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
• Monthly salary ranges from ₹13,000 to ₹16,000 depending on experience and skill level.
• Additional performance-based incentives can increase earnings to ₹22,000 or more.
• Annual bonus provided as part of the benefits package.
