P99Soft seeks a skilled Concept Artist with 3 to 5 years of experience based in Pune to play a pivotal role in shaping the visual player experience for mobile games. This role involves crafting compelling visual storytelling, UI/UX elements, and marketing materials that resonate with players and enhance game engagement.

Core Responsibilities

• Design concept artwork spanning characters, environments, props, UI elements, and game features while establishing visual themes.
• Create art emphasizing narrative, mood, hierarchy, and player interaction.
• Leverage principles of player psychology in visualizing characters, rewards, environments, and interactions.
• Direct UI/UX art ensuring clarity, appeal, and user-friendliness tailored to the audience.
• Develop visual assets for stores, promotional materials, key art, banners, icons, and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain consistent art style and visual messaging throughout the game.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, developers, and marketing teams to translate gameplay into effective designs.
• Produce sketches, mood boards, explorations, and polished visuals suited for production use.
• Research competitor games, trends, and player preferences to inform creative choices.
• Rapidly iterate multiple concepts based on feedback and clearly communicate visual ideas within cross-functional teams.

Required Expertise

• Solid foundation in composition, color theory, lighting, perspective, shape language, and storytelling.
• Understanding of game art aesthetics and player-centric design.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and effective visual hierarchy.
• Insight into how visuals affect player emotions, readability, and decisions.
• Capacity to explore diverse concepts and articulate ideas clearly.
• Ability to analyze why visuals resonate with players beyond mere appearance.
• Keen interest in game design, storytelling, psychology, marketing art, and art direction.
• Receptiveness to feedback and willing to iterate swiftly.
• Effective teamwork and communication capabilities.
