Role Description
As a Coach Driver, you will be the welcoming and farewell face for our guests, guiding them safely across the steep and scenic Wilmot Pass. Your role involves more than just driving; it includes delivering engaging and authentic narrations about Doubtful Sound, deepening visitors' connection to the place.
Employment Details
This opportunity is a full-time fixed-term position available from September 2026 through March 2027. It is ideal for those who enjoy a seasonal role filled with exciting adventures and meaningful guest interactions.
Candidate Profile
- Must possess at least a Class 2 licence with a P-endorsement or be capable of obtaining one
- Hold a clean New Zealand driver’s licence
- Have verifiable coach driving experience
- Hold a valid New Zealand work visa for the entire employment period
- Be able or willing to provide passenger commentary in English
- Experience navigating gravel or alpine roads is beneficial
- A passion for storytelling and strong communication skills are essential
- Friendly, engaging personality that makes every guest feel welcomed and informed
