Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Leesburg, FL site. This is a full-time onsite role working Monday through Friday during standard business hours. The position is non-exempt under FLSA guidelines and offers compensation between $31 and $36 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient visits and procedures as per protocols including phlebotomy, IV placement, injections, vital signs monitoring, ECG/EKG, and more.
• Accurately document all clinical assessments and research data in source documents and complete Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRFs) following regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Obtain informed consent from study participants abiding by federal regulations, GCP standards, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements.
• Recruit eligible participants ethically to fulfill study enrollment goals within required timelines.
• Engage in mandatory training sessions, investigator meetings, and stay updated with evolving regulatory requirements as well as company policies.
• Plan and carry out visits in alignment with protocol schedules.
• Safeguard participant confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA and related confidentiality agreements.
• Promptly report adverse events (AEs) and ensure serious adverse events (SAEs) are reported to sponsors within 24 hours, also notifying principal investigators and supervisors.
• Manage and maintain accountability of research materials including study drugs, lab samples, CRFs, and supplies.
• Maintain regular, documented communication with leads, management, principal investigators, sub-investigators, and study teams according to protocol requirements.
• Perform all duties safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively in accordance with company policies.
• Project a professional image representing Flourish Research in all interactions.
• Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum two years of clinical research experience with mandatory oncology exposure.
• Experience in clinical skills such as vital signs measurement, ECG/EKG, phlebotomy, and injections is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic source documentation and reporting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and GCP compliance.
• Excellent organizational aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage investigators, research teams, sponsors, study candidates, and referral sources.
• Demonstrates integrity, self-motivation, and ethical behavior in professional conduct.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Proficient understanding of medical terminology and lab specimen handling procedures.
• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office suite.
