Cleaner Supervisor

Job Overview

This role involves overseeing cleaning staff and activities across multiple locations, requiring significant travel and work in various environments. The candidate must communicate effectively in English and have completed high school education. Experience from 1 to under 2 years in cleaning is needed.

Work Environment

• Tasks often conducted on the road, with varied locations.
• Environments may include working at heights, confined spaces, damp or wet areas, noisy sites, odorous conditions, dusty surroundings, outdoor settings, and potentially dangerous or dirty workplaces.
• Typical work settings include office buildings, cleaning service companies, commercial facilities, hotels, schools, shopping centers, and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, or arrange training for cleaning personnel.
• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of 1 to 2 cleaning staff.
• Perform inspections to verify that health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
• Develop budget plans and cost projections for cleaning services.
• Suggest or organize additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or equipment replacements.
• Handle payments for specialized cleaning tasks as required.
• Support cleaners in their duties and collaborate with other departments to coordinate workload.
• Establish and maintain effective work schedules.

Additional Requirements and Conditions

• Valid driver's license is necessary due to travel requirements.
• A check on driver's license validity will be conducted as part of the security and safety measures.
• Work is fast-paced and physically demanding, involving repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, prolonged standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
• The role demands flexibility, good judgment, reliability, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and dependability under pressure and tight deadlines.
