Civil Lawyer - Real Estate

About the Role

RealEstateWallah is seeking a Civil Lawyer to become an integral part of its expanding real estate team based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This position is ideal for fresh law graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience in civil law related to property and real estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough verification of land documents, including checks from Encumbrance Certificates through to Sale Deed Registrations.
• Perform title verifications and conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on real estate properties.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of mutation records, Record of Rights (RoR), land records, and ancillary documentation.
• Possess knowledge of RERA approvals and ensure compliance with real estate regulations.
• Liaise effectively with government offices, advocates, real estate developers, and clients to facilitate smooth legal operations.
• Draft and review a variety of legal agreements pertinent to real estate transactions.

Candidate Requirements

• The candidate must possess an LL.B. degree; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with Odisha's land laws and experience handling property-related documents are essential.
• Strong drafting capabilities and effective communication skills are important for this role.
• Attention to detail, along with a keen interest in learning and professional growth, is necessary.
