Role Overview

As a Chamber Steward - Guest Room Attendant at The Queen’s Cue, you will be entrusted with the upkeep and presentation of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they exude comfort and careful attention. Your duties will extend beyond guestrooms to include upkeep in restaurants, lounges, and other hotel spaces, along with helping with laundry tasks when necessary. Your role is vital in maintaining the polished, welcoming atmosphere that defines our guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and refresh guest rooms to ensure they meet the hotel's standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain public areas and food & beverage spaces in pristine condition.
• Assist with laundry and other support tasks as required.
• Adapt flexibly to various needs and assignments throughout the hotel.
• Work independently while contributing positively to the team environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail with pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to manage multiple guest rooms and tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Competent communication skills with a professional and guest-focused attitude.
• Safe handling and use of cleaning products and equipment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Capability to fulfill physical job demands, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting housekeeping supplies safely.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to assist the housekeeping team as needed.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
