Overview
Bethany Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time, part-time, or PRN (as needed) positions to provide attentive care to patients in hospice settings within Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Join a supportive team that includes nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers focused on holistic care for patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in patients' homes across Pittsburgh area, travelling between locations.
- Work flexible daylight schedules; options include full-time, part-time, weekends, or PRN shifts.
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs compassionately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification valid in Pennsylvania.
- At least one year of direct patient care experience; hospice care experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care, with optional training support provided).
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle compliant with state requirements.
- Completion of satisfactory criminal background check.
- Completed two-step TB test or CDC accepted equivalent.
- Flexible, cooperative attitude and commitment to team goals.
