We are looking for an organized, detail-focused, and driven Buying Coordinator to enhance our Buying department. This role centers around managing files, maintaining product and supplier databases, and providing essential reports. The successful candidate will interact professionally with internal teams and external partners, thrive under pressure, multitask effectively, and report directly to a Senior Buyer.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Buyers in ensuring an optimal product assortment is available to customers.
- Work closely with suppliers to maintain smooth product delivery into our operations.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports for various internal units and our German counterparts.
- Handle inbound calls and emails efficiently and professionally.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally to solve routine administrative and operational challenges.
- Manage paper-based and electronic files, ensuring proper archiving.
- Assist the line manager and team with miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Execute tasks with precision, complying with deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organizational capabilities alongside advanced analytical and data management skills.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficient use of Google Workspace applications.
- A tertiary qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of German is a plus, though not required.
- Possession of a full driving license.
