Role overview
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position is focused on building, maintaining and improving reporting tools across the AVADA Group. The role uses information from several systems to produce accurate, timely and useful insights for teams across the organisation.
The successful candidate will contribute to business intelligence delivery through Power BI, automate workflows with Power Automate, and help maintain strong data quality across reporting environments. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex business issues, creating clear dashboards, and working with leaders to support decisions based on data.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, update and support Power BI dashboards and reports for different business areas.
- Create reporting outputs that improve visibility of operational and financial performance.
- Design interactive charts, visuals and KPI reports that support strategic choices.
- Pull together data from finance, operations and HR platforms, then transform and analyse it.
- Carry out validation, reconciliation and quality checks on data.
- Convert large and complex datasets into practical insights that can be acted on.
- Build automated workflows with Power Automate.
- Look for ways to improve reporting speed, accuracy and process efficiency.
- Collect reporting needs from stakeholders and suggest workable solutions.
- Provide a responsive reporting service that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
- Experience in a Business Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst or similar reporting-oriented role.
- Strong hands-on capability in Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX and data modelling.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing complex data transformations.
- Practical use of Power Automate for business process automation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Query.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and confidence in engaging with stakeholders.
- Comfort working independently while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
