Role Overview
The company is seeking a driven Real Estate Business Development Representative to work remotely and partner closely with the US-based Head of Business Development. This position centers on building a strong pipeline, creating new commercial opportunities, and helping convert interest into revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Screen inbound prospects, match them to suitable options, and determine whether they are a good fit.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calls and email outreach.
- Manage and move forward a pipeline of owners and brokers.
- Communicate with owners and brokers via calls, email, and chat on partner platforms while presenting the Rove offering.
- Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities in the market.
- Set up meetings and property viewings between prospective clients and the Head of Real Estate.
- Reduce manual work for the real estate team so more time can be spent on higher-value priorities.
- Help drive monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Build relationships with brokers, potential owners, and third-party agencies.
- Act quickly on feedback to improve team performance, workflow, occupancy, and revenue.
- Share market research and property comparisons with the pricing team to support underwriting decisions.
- Coordinate with operations and launch teams to improve occupancy as homes become available.
Requirements
- Business-level English fluency at a native-equivalent standard is required.
- Ability to conduct effective discovery calls, listen actively, handle objections, and negotiate confidently.
- Warm, outgoing personality with genuine enjoyment in speaking with people.
- Experience in sales with empathy and a consultative approach, ideally in technology, hospitality, or real estate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed organizational skills.
- Comfort using computers, web tools, and mobile applications.
- Customer-focused attitude with a strong desire to close deals and act with urgency.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work effectively with HubSpot CRM.
- Receptive to coaching and able to implement feedback quickly.
- Strong consultative selling, active listening, objection-handling, and negotiation skills.
- Preferred experience in short-term rentals or hotel sales, startup environments, or with tools such as HubSpot, Slack, OpenPhone, G-Suite, and Guesty.
