Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic and goal-driven Business Development Representative to become part of our expanding commercial team based in Singapore. This role involves collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to generate new business leads and contribute to building Addepar’s sales pipeline throughout Southeast Asia and the broader APAC wealth and investment management sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business prospects across Singapore and the wider APAC region.
- Develop, maintain, and prioritize a curated list of strategic accounts aligned with the company’s commercial objectives.
- Engage in high-level discovery conversations with key decision-makers within private banks, family offices, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), and investment management firms.
- Maintain and update account intelligence by conducting thorough research, adding contacts, tracking activities, and planning territory strategies alongside Account Executives.
- Contribute to refining outbound messaging, regional campaigns, and prospecting approaches that resonate with local markets.
- Meet or exceed quarterly quotas related to qualified opportunities passed on to the sales team.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years’ experience in outbound sales or business development, with preference given to those familiar with SaaS, fintech, or financial services sectors.
- A strong interest or familiarity with wealth management, private capital, or investment technology is advantageous.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with enthusiasm for contributing to a high-growth, cross-border environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively across remote teams spanning multiple time zones.
- Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa, or Japanese is beneficial given the regional scope of the role.
