About the Role
We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Executive with substantial experience in the security systems sector to expand our product offerings throughout Nigeria. The ideal applicant will possess in-depth knowledge of CCTV, intrusion alarm, and fire alarm systems, alongside a well-established network of security companies, system integrators, installers, and resellers. This role demands a proactive individual capable of uncovering new business prospects, cultivating enduring client partnerships, delivering technical presentations, and meeting ambitious sales objectives while collaborating closely with internal sales and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategies to advance and grow the company’s security product range within the Nigerian market.
- Establish and sustain robust relationships with security firms, system integrators, and installation specialists.
- Identify and secure partnerships with prospective clients, including resellers and end users.
- Deliver technical consultations and product demonstrations to highlight features and advantages.
- Work in unison with sales and technical departments to guarantee customer satisfaction and successful project completion.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor actions, and emerging opportunities to refine business development tactics.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales and development targets.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of professional experience in IT, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or the security systems industry.
- Technical expertise or hands-on experience with security systems such as intrusion alarms, fire alarms, and CCTV.
- Good knowledge of the Nigerian security systems market, with connections to installers and security firms.
- Proven success in business development, sales, or account management roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- A driven approach emphasizing innovation and client success.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly net salary ranging between ₦400,000 and ₦600,000.
