Job Overview

This full-time, on-site position is located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab. The role focuses on conducting regular facility inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and executing repairs to maintain safe and efficient operations. The maintenance technician will attend to daily tasks such as basic carpentry, plumbing inspections and repairs, routine upkeep of the building, and liaising with external contractors or specialists as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on the building structure and systems.
• Conduct basic carpentry work to fix or install fittings and minor structural repairs.
• Carry out plumbing tasks including installation, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
• Support preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and issues.
• Document completed maintenance work accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and effectively prioritize tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in building maintenance, repair techniques, and use of maintenance tools.
• Experience in carpentry for handling basic repairs and installations.
• Competency in plumbing including installation and troubleshooting of minor issues.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, building codes, and maintenance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving ability, task prioritization, and time management skills in dynamic environments.
• Previous work experience in facilities or building maintenance is preferred.
• Educational background of high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in maintenance is advantageous.
