Bouncer / Security Bodyguard cum Driver

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Security Bodyguard cum Driver to ensure the safety and security of high-profile clients during travel and at their homes or workplaces. This position involves providing close personal protection combined with expert vehicle operation, including defensive driving and vigilant situational awareness.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver close physical protection to VIPs such as executives, celebrities, or other designated individuals during transit and public events.
• Maintain heightened alertness to identify and mitigate threats promptly.
• Escort clients securely between locations, coordinating with onsite security personnel as necessary.
• Plan and evaluate travel routes, perform risk analysis, and prepare backup plans ahead of movements.
• Drive assigned vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, or armored cars, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and VIP policies.
• Handle stressful traffic or emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and in proper working condition, including pre-trip inspections and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, including attacks, medical incidents, or traffic accidents, evacuating clients to safety and contacting authorities as per standard operating procedures.
• Provide basic first aid or coordinate medical evacuations when required.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the client’s whereabouts, schedules, and private matters, demonstrating professional and courteous conduct continuously.
• Secure vehicles and assets when stationary, monitor the environment for suspicious activities, and report any concerning incidents.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of 10th standard pass; 12th pass preferred.
• Possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle driving license with 3 to 5 years of accident-free experience.
• Have 3 to 7 years of experience in personal security or VIP driving roles; prior bodyguard or Personal Security Officer (PSO) experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with security protocols, evasive driving techniques, and basic first aid is preferable.
• Age between 24 and 40 years.
• Height at least 5 feet 10 inches (175 cm), physically fit, alert, and robust build.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in defensive and evasive driving under challenging conditions.
• Strong situational awareness with rapid response capabilities.
• Polite yet firm interaction with the public and stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of threat evaluations and protective positioning.
• Ability to stay calm, discreet, and reliable under diverse and stressful scenarios.
• Communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional languages are beneficial.

Work Environment and Conditions

• Working hours are long and flexible, aligning with VIP schedules.
• May involve inter-city or outstation travel requirements.
• Dress code varies from uniforms to formal wear, based on client directives.
• On-call availability including weekends and public holidays is expected.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary corresponds to the Highly Skilled category with potential additional allowances depending on risk exposure and work hours.
• Allowances for night shifts, travel, or outstation assignments as applicable.

Career Progression

Positions may advance from Security Bodyguard cum Driver to Executive Protection Officer, then Close Protection Team Lead, followed by VIP Security Coordinator, and potentially Regional Executive Protection Manager roles.
