Role Overview
Join an expanding mechanical and electrical consulting engineering firm as a Bid Coordinator, where you will be pivotal in managing tender submissions and contributing to business development. This position offers close collaboration with senior leadership, enhancing bid procedures while gaining essential commercial and project insights. Key Responsibilities
- Handle commercial and government tender documents including Invitations to Tender and Requests for Proposals by organizing and tracking enquiries in the CRM system.
- Systematically file all enquiry correspondence within the CRM to ensure easy access and reference.
- Develop strategic plans to complete bids and tenders effectively.
- Coordinate with Directors and Associate Directors to gather input on experience, team composition, scheduling, technical aspects, and integrate these details into concise bid responses.
- Take charge of preparing submission documents using PowerPoint and address any questions related to tenders or questionnaires.
- Manage timely completion of responses to allow for thorough review and necessary edits before submission deadlines.
- Ensure all bids adhere strictly to client specifications and deadlines.
- Maintain and update records in internal databases and company libraries regularly.
- Evaluate electronic tender correspondence to identify suitable opportunities for directors to assess.
- Create and update company marketing materials such as business brochures.
- Manage a comprehensive database including CVs, organisational charts, datasheets, company details, and insurance certificates.
