About the Role and Company

Join Anantara Hotels & Resorts at Banana Island Resort Doha in Qatar, part of the international Minor Hotels group which manages over 530 properties across more than 50 countries worldwide. This position focuses on maintaining and enhancing guest experiences at the beach and recreational facilities of the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures and task lists set by the Recreation Department.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of the Recreation Area and associated back offices.
• Conduct daily cleaning as well as scheduled weekly and monthly maintenance tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Ensure all recreation equipment is cleaned, stored correctly, and secured when not in use.
• Manage towel inventory by transporting to and from laundry and maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management, including lateral service in other hotel areas and overnight cleaning tasks.
• Deliver high-quality customer service consistently, demonstrating professionalism both on and off duty.
• Maintain full compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Prepare workstations with necessary supplies, maintaining cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Respond to guest needs attentively, remaining calm, courteous, and efficient in accommodating requests.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the recreation activities, events, and services offered.
• Provide amenities and services to club and hotel guests per SOPs or supervisor instruction, ensuring availability at all times.
• Perform all tasks listed in daily checklists, ensure tidiness of work areas, and participate in project teams.
• Foster strong collaborative relationships with other departments.
• Attain thorough knowledge of all products, services, sports, leisure activities, and equipment offered by the hotel.
• Follow proper accounting procedures when collecting or charging fees related to recreation activities.
• Be ready to undertake additional recreation-related duties as requested by management.
• Assist in driving revenue growth for the department.

Additional Information

The position is stationed at the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara and is a full-time, onsite role dedicated to ensuring excellent guest experiences through efficient facility and equipment management.
