Azure Integration Lead

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Azure Integration Architect/Lead to spearhead enterprise-wide integration initiatives using Azure Integration Services alongside .NET Core technologies. This professional will play a crucial role in crafting, developing, and governing API-first, event-centric, and hybrid integration architectures. The role demands hands-on Azure development capabilities, strong architectural vision, and mentoring skills to guide teams while working closely with business and technical stakeholders. The position is open across Pan India with 10 to 15 years of industry experience expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the organization's integration architecture, including the strategic planning and roadmap.
• Architect and deploy API-centric, event-driven, publish/subscribe, and batch integration models.
• Lead complex integration development initiatives leveraging Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure API Management.
• Set and maintain governance protocols concerning API security, logging, monitoring, exception handling, and performance enhancement.
• Implement observability solutions utilizing Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Provide mentorship by conducting code reviews and promoting best architectural and coding practices.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Manage infrastructure as code deployments via Bicep or Terraform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and enterprise architects to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Ensure all integration solutions comply with enterprise security, operational standards, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Extensive practical experience with Azure Integration Services and .NET Core application development.
• Proficient with Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and expedite deliveries.
• Expertise in designing and developing solutions on Azure Logic Apps (both Standard and Consumption models).
• Skillful in managing APIs via Azure API Management including policy creation, securing APIs, and enabling developer portals.
• Experience building event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.
• Familiarity developing serverless applications in Azure Functions with a preference for C#/.NET.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful services, GraphQL, SOAP, and data formats including JSON, XML, with transformations through XSLT and Liquid templates.
• Competent in securing integrations with OAuth2, Managed Identity, JWT tokens, and utilizing Azure Key Vault.
• Practical experience in hybrid connectivity solutions using Azure On-Premises Data Gateway and Hybrid Connections.
• Experience supporting data integration and ETL with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Adherence to integration best practices ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related fields is required.
• Master’s degree is preferable but not mandatory.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or specialized Azure Integration Services certifications are desirable.

Preferred Domain

Prior experience in Energy and Utilities sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
