Job Overview
This role of Assistant Support Worker is integral in delivering compassionate support and care to individuals utilizing Nua’s services. The position includes assisting clients with daily routines, community activities, education, and personal skills, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies while working in a 24/7 shift pattern.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist and support individuals with their daily plans and routines.
- Accompany and support individuals during community outings.
- Help individuals develop educational and personal skills to meet their goals.
- Guide and assist with living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, and family visits.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and codes of practice.
- Work shifts covering all hours across seven days a week.
Experience and Skills Required
- For Assistant Support Worker: No formal qualifications required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- For Social Care Workers: A Level 7/8 degree in Social Care, Healthcare, or related fields with CORU registration is essential.
- Relevant personal or professional experience is desirable but not compulsory.
- A positive work attitude and a passion for supporting people.
- Possession of a full driving license or actively working toward obtaining one.
