Assistant Manager - Fire, Life and Safety

Role Overview

Join as the Assistant Manager to support and oversee fire and life safety operations at Qiddiya. This position emphasizes procurement and commercial aspects critical to sustaining Qiddiya's Fire and Life Safety (FLS) framework agreements. Excellence in this role ensures effective coordination with third-party review consultants, benefiting asset development and land servicing projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creation and issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in partnership with the FLS Manager.
• Drive technical and commercial discussions and negotiations with service providers and bidders.
• Manage and oversee service order workflows and tracking to completion.
• Ensure consultants adhere strictly to contractual terms and conditions.
• Maintain oversight and governance of framework agreements related to FLS services.
• Guarantee procurement activities align with Qiddiya's audit and procurement policies.
• Track progress and timelines for all fire and life safety projects and associated submissions.

Key Deliverables

• Optimal use of Qiddiya’s Fire and Life Safety framework contracts.
• Successful negotiation and establishment of framework-level and service order agreements.
• Prompt review and authorization of framework scopes and related invoices.
• Adherence to Qiddiya’s procurement policies throughout all Fire and Life Safety related purchases.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as Fire Protection, Civil, Mechanical, or in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields.
• Between 5 to 7 years of relevant experience involving procurement, contracts management, or commercial administration with exposure to Fire and Life Safety.
• Experience preferably gained within large-scale giga projects or master-planned developments, particularly in fire protection engineering or construction environments.
• Deep knowledge of procurement procedures, RFP creation, managing framework agreements, and contract governance.
• Familiarity with fire and life safety regulations, standards, and third-party review processes such as NFPA, IBC, or applicable local and international fire safety codes.
