Job description
Position Summary
The Assistant Human Resources Manager will support management and leadership in addressing and resolving HR-related concerns and employee relations issues. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, maintaining accurate employee records, and facilitating communication related to HR programs and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking and resolving employee relations matters, ensuring follow-up and feedback.
- Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
- Monitor recruitment processes to ensure conformity with legal and organizational standards.
- Manage employee documentation, including interview records and compliance forms.
- Coordinate the administration and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns from employees and supervisors about company and HR policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold company safety and security protocols.
- Provide courteous guest reception and maintain professional communication standards.
- Perform administrative duties including answering calls and documenting messages.
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a related HR role.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
