Renowned for its health-conscious philosophy of "good food that is good for you," Wild Wheat specializes in traditional sourdough and handcrafted baked goods, made daily under the supervision of founder and Head Baker Andrew Fearnside.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Admin Coordinator to join our head office team, providing vital support across customer service, wholesale, and operational administration. This position plays a key role in facilitating seamless daily operations for both retail and wholesale divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and website for wholesale and retail clients.
- Manage end-of-day administrative tasks for the night production team, including order entry, recipe and invoice distribution to bakery and packing teams.
- Offer administrative support to retail stores as needed.
- Assist wholesale customers with activities such as key collection, site visits, and sample distribution.
- Collect, organize, and analyze records for business insights.
- Maintain full operational oversight of Mountain Stream, the internal bakery management platform.
- Complete additional administrative duties essential to business operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong problem-solving abilities, and advanced computer literacy. Full training will be provided, including expertise development in Mountain Stream software.
Work Details
This role is based at Wild Wheat Bakery, 58 Ascot Road, Mangere, operating Monday to Friday with shifts from 8am to 2pm or 9am to 3pm, inclusive of some scheduling flexibility. You'll be joining a small, committed administrative team within a company employing over 160 staff, bringing fresh energy and tackling challenging operational projects.
