Accounts Receivable Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to remotely oversee the revenue accounting and collections operations. This full-time position involves managing account receivables, resolving discrepancies, and enhancing revenue recognition processes. The manager will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure precise financial reporting.

Key Duties

• Establish and enforce streamlined accounts receivable protocols covering invoicing and collection activities.
• Continuously monitor overdue accounts via aging reports and take preemptive actions to reduce revenue losses.
• Work closely with sales, client success, and finance teams to rectify billing issues and optimize cash inflow.
• Adhere to revenue recognition compliance standards while maintaining detailed and accurate financial data.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports monthly, quarterly, and annually for internal use.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Over five years of experience managing revenue accounting or accounts receivable functions.
• Strong expertise in ERP platforms, with preference for NetSuite or equivalent systems.
• Proficient understanding of GAAP revenue recognition principles and financial statement preparation.
• Exceptional analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills capable of simplifying complex financial concepts for non-financial colleagues.
